Almost 70 steel wrenches were forged, shaped and welded to create this one-of-a-kind 12” sphere. Its open lattice design engages the natural light and shadows of any setting. Its industrial pedestal is made from cross rail supports salvaged from the square-link drive chain of an early century manure spreader. Providing neither a beginning nor an end this sphere symbolizes the continuous cycle of work, ingenuity, and problem-solving that shaped generations of makers and mechanics.
